Manning, Bush, Sanchez & Sanders Front Verizon’s ‘Super Bowl Sweeps’ Welcome Unlimited Promo

Launched on 31 January, two weeks ahead of Super Bowl LVII, wireless carrier and official NFL telecoms partner Verizon rolled out a ‘Super Bowl Sweeps’ social campaign giving away 20 pairs of tickets not only to the Big Game in Arizona, but to the next two Super Bowls as well

 

The social sweepstakes is fronted by a team of four former NFL greats – New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning, New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez, plus running back turned Fox analyst Reggie Bush and 12-season NFL wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders – and all the former players feature in creative promoting the giveaway and promoting Verizon’s ‘Welcome Unlimited’ plan.

 

The wireless carrier campaign is giving away 20 pairs of tickets and each former player ambassador also offers their own personal touch to the contest (for example, Manning offers to coach their kid’s football team) while they explain the initiative and encourage fans to visit their local Verizon retail store by 15 February to enter.

 

The creative executions rolled out across both the brand’s online channels as well as the players’ own personal platforms, while the three years of Super Bowl tickets promote the three-year price guarantee for the ‘Welcome Unlimited’ plan.

As the NFL’s official telco and communications partner Verizon has a multi-faceted Super Bowl activation programme including kitting out the whole of Arizona’s State Farm Stadium with the latest 5G Ultra Wideband for the Big Game.
