Oakley X Patrick Mahomes Leverages NFL Playoffs Via ‘Be Who You Are’ #ForTheLoveOfSport Spot

Oakley launched a new 60-second social spot on 14 January focusing on its athlete ambassador Patrick Mahomes.


Timed to coincide with the NFL Playoffs and Mahomes’ mission to lead his Kansas City Chiefs to back-to-back Super Bowls, the ad runs under Oakley’s umbrella ‘For The Love Of Sport’ brand platform.


The video blends footage of Mahomes in action across multiple sports throughout his youth and features critical commentary mixed with athlete voiceover as the quarter back urges viewers to champion difference and being true to themselves.



“Anything that is different, isn’t always accepted at the beginning. It’s not about being the best. It’s about being yourself,” says Mahomes.
