Australian ‘Paralympic Dreams’ Powered By Swisse Wellness TV Ads And Online Film Series

Swisse Wellness has switched from the Olympics to the Paralympics and has begun the roll out of its ‘Powering Australian Paralympic Dreams’ campaign with a hero 30-second commercial.

 

Initially posted on the Swisse YouTube channel on 6 September, the flagship TV commercial invites viewers to experience the incredible stories behind some of Australia’s greatest athletes as they prepare for the Paralympic Games.

 

Activating its partnership with the Australian Paralympic Committee, this flagship spot debuts on air during Channel 7’s coverage of the Rio Paralympic Opening Ceremony and work will run until the coverage conclusion after the Paralympics Closing Ceremony.

 

Developed in harness with creative agency Noisy Beast, the campaign is built around a further 10 commercials all telling the inspirational stories of four Swisse para-athlete ambassadors and focuses on the dedication and determination that powers the biggest moment of their lives.

 

All spots features new, ‘dynamic’ and ‘targeted’ messages: each one relevant to different athletes, different disciplines and their respective health needs and they showcase the Swisse ‘formula for success’ with relevant content and placement.

 

The initiative is also amplified across the brand’s digital https://swisse.com/en-au/olympic-para… and social platforms (using the hastag #Swissepoweringdreams).

 

These online assets are fronted by a further set of 16 longer form (3+ minutes) films featuring the para-athlete ambassadors interviewed by Australian sports commentator and journalist Hamish McLachlan.

 

 

 

 

 

According to the brand, the objective behind Swisse’s Australian Olympic and Paralympic partnership activation is simply to ‘power our athletes’ Rio journey through sharing their stories, dreams and successes with the rest of Australia’.

 

‘We are extremely proud to support our Australian Paralympic Team’s Rio journey,’ explains Swisse sales and marketing director Michel Howard.

 

‘Our athletes are some of the greatest at what they do and each with an equally inspiring story, many of which up until now have not been told.

The Paralympic push follows on from Suisse’s Australian Olympic Team #Swissepoweringdreams campaign.

 

 

In fact, playing both sides of the oldest sporting rivalry of all, Swisse is also a sponsor of Team GB and activated the relationship via a ‘We’ve Got Your Back Great Britain’ campaign.
