On 25 June, minutes after the club confirmed its first Premier League trophy, outgoing Liverpool FC shirt supplier New Balance celebrated the club’s first domestic title in 30 years with a spot starring player ambassador Sadio Mane: “This is Sadio. You might think he’s quiet, but he’s the loudest footballer in the world.”
While Mane will remain a New Balance athlete, Nike (after a high profile legal dispute) will replace New Balance as the team’s official kit supplier from the 2020-21 season with a multi-year partnership spanning playing, training and travel wear.
