Nine 9-Second Spots Front Air NZ’s Activation Of Dick Smith NRL Auckland Nines

In partnership with ATEED and Tourism New Zealand, November saw Air New Zealand has launched the ’09 seconds in Auckland’ campaign via Host, Sydney.

The nine videos gives Australians the perfect (nine) reasons to visit Auckland for a short break.

New Zealand’s biggest summer event is back on Waitangi Weekend, Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 February 2016! The Dick Smith NRL Auckland Nines is the place to be as all 16 NRL teams and 288 star players descend on Eden Park for this two-day, nine-per-side knock-out tournament extravaganza.

The Air NZ campaign coincides with the official NRL Auckland 9s Jersey Launch event

This work sees Air NZ continue to leverage its rugby partnerships following on from its successful All Blacks Rugby World Cup work led by its Men In Black ‘Safety Defenders’ parody that has already clocked up around 4m YouTube views (see case study).
