Firestone Walker Brewing Company Promotes 805 Brand Via Pro Bullrider ‘Hold On Tight’ Campaign

Firestone Walker Brewing Company released a short film for its 805 Beer brand called ‘Hold On Tight’ and focusing on professional bull rider Stetson Lawrence.

 

The online video, part of the brewer’s ongoing ‘805 Authenticos’ film series, focuses on professional cowboy Lawrence – currently ranked the world’s 24th best bull rider.

 

Lawrence, from Chippewa and of Sioux Native American heritage, has been on the Professional Bull Riders tour for more than seven years: his passion for the sport and respect for the animals means he cherishes every ride as if it was his last.

 

The film tells the story of why Lawrence left his oil field job to follow his professional bull rider dream and how, for him, bull riding is both an art and a sport where mental strength and stability reign are key.

 

 

The spearhead spot is supported by a set of matching content spanning the brand’s social platforms.

805, one of the USA faster growing beers, has built its brand around an active, rural West lifestyle and its signature black and white film and photographer often focuses on the tough working man and his pastimes such as rodeo, stock cars, surfing, dirt bikes and country music (plus a heavy dose of denim and Stetsons).

 

It’s like a modern Marlborough Man approach.
