Ricoh’s #2PoliteForBusiness ATP World Tour Finals Ticket Giveaway

ATP Platinum Partner Ricoh despatched a street team of suited-and-booted ‘Polite Businesspeople’ to walk the streets of London and offer tennis fans a chance to win tickets to the sold-out ATP World Tour Finals at the O2 Arena.

The traditionally-dressed City-style brand ambassadors – wearing bowler hats and pin-stripe suits – walked the streets of London’s famous City business district in mid November to generate awareness and drive participation in the global IT, imaging and office technology brand’s #2Polite4Business tennis activation.

The street work – which focused around London bridge, The Bank Of England, Broadgate Circus and Finsbury Square – ran in parallel with a Twitter led social strand of the ticket giveaway that revolved around @RicohUK’s #2Polite4Business hashtag.

Both strands offered consumers a chance to win four pairs of ‘money-can’t-buy’ tickets to the end of season World Tour Finals tournament

To enter the competition, tennis lovers simply need to tweet – using the #2polite4business hashtag – telling Ricoh UK why they deserve the tickets more than anyone else.

The four winners, selected at random, were then invited to the tournament’s evening session on 16 November.

The giveaway was activated by consumers across social media

and generated various degrees of public support.
